Vorontsov Palace

Alupka. Crimea. One of the most beautiful Crimean sight. It was built between 1828 and 1846 by Mihail Vorontsov, the Governor-General in Novorossiya. The Palace was designed to be an imitation of English mansion but it also shows strong Byzantine influence, both architecturally and its interior decor.
